EMD 485-P1
MID energy meter, single-phase, direct connection up to 100 A, Modbus RTU
The EMD 485-P1 is a single-phase MID-certified energy meter from Janitza's EMD series, for direct connection up to 100 A on DIN rail. It measures voltage, current, power, power factor, frequency and maximum demand, and records imported and exported active and reactive energy separately, so that, for example, the yield of a PV system can also be captured. Its built-in RS485 interface with Modbus RTU lets the readings be taken into an energy monitoring system such as GridVis or a building management system, and two digital inputs can be used as counters. At 2 DIN modules wide it is suited to sub-metering single-phase circuits and consumers.
