RCM 202-AB
Residual current monitoring device, Type AB
The RCM 202-AB is a dedicated 2-channel monitoring instrument that continuously watches for residual (leakage) current in TN-S electrical systems, without tripping the circuit, catching a slowly worsening insulation fault long before it becomes a fire hazard or forces an unplanned shutdown. Janitza markets it as a Type B+ unit designed to be retrofitted into existing switchboards rather than requiring a new panel build.
Key Features
- 01Monitors residual current Types A, B, and B+ (AC, smooth DC, high-frequency up to 20 kHz)
- 02Works with conventional Type A CTs and divisible/split-core transformers
- 03Frequency-selective analysis: 50 Hz, pure DC, and high-frequency (up to 20 kHz) components reported separately
- 04Built-in LCD display with local operating controls
- 05Retrofit-friendly for existing main/sub-distribution boards
- 06Target uses: data centers, hospitals, production facilities, logistics centers
